HOW TO PUT RESTRICTIONS ON A PDF FILE

Security options let you control whether, and to what extent, a PDF file can be accessed, edited, and reproduced when viewed in Adobe Reader.

Set a document password to protect and encrypt a PDF file. Only users who have the password can open and decrypt the PDF file.

Go to the security tab. Now click on the Change Settings button next to Password Security. Acrobat will now ask for your password.
